Life Drawing

Life drawing is the foundation stone of all visual creativity. It's like a creative version of going to the gym or doing push ups.
Graham Davidson first started life drawing when he was a teenage animator working in Sydney. Since then, he has both taught drawing at TAFE and run private life drawing sessions.
He is currently facilitating life drawings sessions every Wednesday evening at the Hunter Artisan Gallery and Café in Melbourne Street East Maitland. The sessions run from 6.30 - 8.30pm in a relaxed atmosphere. Graham provides tuition for those who need a helping hand, but respects that accomplished artists prefer to do their own thing.
Graham and the gallery are currently planning to approach local high schools with a view to providing life drawing classes for senior students.
For more details of the sessions, or to book a place, feel free to contact Jenni Nichols at the gallery. You can get in touch by clicking this link to the gallery's Facebook page
