The Witches of the Cross-worlds

The Witches of the Cross-worlds came into being after Graham had watched his daughter become a prolific reader, but lamented the slim pickings on offer at the time of strong female protagonists in books geared toward younger readers.  At the same time, a member of one of his writers groups had suggested he should expand on a short story he'd written about a girl in the Blue Mountains during the 1850s rescuing a fairy from a spider web. A short time later, the first Witches book was underway.
With the third book, Nasqa Vengeance, coming soon, Graham's intention is to release one Witches book each year, with an ultimate aim of having nine books in the series. In the first book, Patsy McIntyre is just turning eleven, but by the end of the final book in the series, she'll be a woman.
Will she marry and have children by then? Even Graham doesn't know the answer to that one.

Book 1 - Sellemae's Wrath

In Australia’s Blue Mountains, during the mid nineteenth century, ten-year-old Patsy rescues what she believes to be a fairy from a spider-web, triggering a sequence of events that challenge
everything she’s believed about herself and the world around her.
A perilous journey into the realm of an evil spider queen brings three generations of witches together. Combined, their power is greater than any of them could have imagined. But is it enough
to defeat the ancient spider queen, Sellemae?
In this first book of the Witches of the Cross-worlds series, Graham Davidson takes us on a wild ride through two worlds filled with magic and the struggles of a young girl coming to grips with her destiny.
